European and transatlantic history of the 19th and 20th century, with a particular interest in the history of mass media and journalism, the interwar years, National Socialism, body history, cultural history of politics, German-Jewish relations, the GDR, the history of crime and criminality, legal history

A new history of the National Socialist stormtroopers (SA), 1921-1945 (project completed, book in preparation for the fall of 2017)
