Properties
I The hydrophilic inorganic Mo154 macro-ions1 (cover picture top left)
show in solution an unprecedented self-assembly to
giant vesicles.2-4 For an explanation see ref. 5.
II Each ring Mo154 species contains 14 (7 in front, 7 at the back) well-separated
compartments1 (see also STM figure bottom right);
each of these contains
two delocalized electrons causing the blue colour (see III).
