Closest tram stop: Wellensiek (Tram line 4)

At Wellensiek, cross the street to the right of the tram in direction of travel and walk through the green hills towards the campus buildings (see map & photo). When you reach the campus buildings, the first one is the HSBI. Pass that and enter the building labeled "CITEC" to the left across the plaza.

To the venue from Inner City / Main Station: The central tram stops are Hauptbahnhof (main station), Jahnplatz and Rathaus. From any of these, take Tram 4 towards "Lohmannshof" and exit at "Wellensiek". Trams go at least every 10 Minutes.

The best connected airport is Düsseldorf, with hourly train service to Bielefeld. Other reachable Airports are Dortmund, Paderborn, Hannover, Köln/Bonn and Münster/Osnabrück, from which there are public transport connections as well, but they might be more complicated than from Düsseldorf.

Bielefeld is situated on the train route Cologne-Berlin and is reached by several IC / ICE trains per hour.

From the north: You can take the A2 from Hannover to Dortmund, exit at "Bielefeld-Zentrum", Detmolder Straße with direction towards the centre ("Zentrum"), and from there the University ("Universität") is signposted. To get to CITEC, follow Universitätsstraße, Erfahrung and turn right into Assoziation and from there into Inspiration.

From the south: You can take the A2 from Dortmund to Hannover. At "Dreieck Bielefeld" on the A33 towards "Bielefeld-Zentrum", exit "Bielefeld-Zentrum", towards Zentrum on the B61, exit "Universität", way over Stapenhorststr., Kurt-Schumacher-Str., Universitätsstraße, Erfahrung, then turn right into Assoziation and from there into Inspiration.

We recommend to use the address "Zehlendorfer Damm 201" (old street name) or "Assoziation" (side street) as destination, because most navigation systems aren't able to locate the street "Inspiration" yet.
