INTERNATIONAL COOPERATIONS

Bridging science and Industrial applications

Overview

A key feature in biocatalysis is interdisciplinarity and addressing this issue many of our research projects are done in collaboration projects with academic groups. Numerous of them are conducted within international collaborations and representative examples are the various collaboration projects with academic research groups from Japan. Our current collaboration partners in Japan in ongoing research projects are the groups of Prof. Dr. Yasuhisa Asano (Toyama Prefectural University), Prof. Dr. Hiroaki Sasai (Osaka University), Prof. Dr. Shuji Akai (Osaka University) and Prof. Dr. Tetsuhiro Nemoto (Chiba University).

EU-Cooperations

Complementing these research activities, joint research projects are also undertaken within various European Union-funded collaborative network projects such as the EU-projects BIOCASCADES (2015-2018), ONE-FLOW (2017-2021), INTERfaces (since 2020) and 4AirCRAFT (since 2021).
