A useful source on many issues treated in this course (TAGs, MCFGs, Tress, Command Rekations) is Marcus Kracht: "Mathematics of Language". This book is hopefully to appear next summer, but I [M.K.] still own the copyright. So, you may freely download and consult it. If you have any comments, please let me know. I am especially keen to know if there are any mistakes or unclear passages.
Another source is the unpublished manuscript Marcus Kracht: "Nearness and Syntactic Influence Spheres". It has not been revised for ten years, so it is likely to contain a lot of mistakes, and not be up to date. But the ideas we hope are interesting, nevertheless. Opinions welcome.
