- Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań
- Jagellonian University, Kraków
- Veliko Turnovo University, Bulgaria
- University of Antwerp
- University of Dublin, Trinity College
- University of Gothenburg (Göteborg)

Applications
Applications from incoming students should should proceed via your local ERASMUS/Soctrates advisor.
Applications from Bielefeld outgoing students should contain the following information:
- Completed application form (search main ERASMUS web sites)
- CV (Lebenslauf)
- Transcript of classes and grades
- A list of courses at your potential host institution and how they relate to courses in Bielefeld (if you are accepted, this list will form the basis of your ERASMUS contract).
- Letter of motivation (relating specifically to your study specialisations and how these will benefit from studying at your intended host university, not just English language learning or general cultural and touristic interests).
- Learning agreement (list of classes you wish to take at your host university), together with a list of the Bielefeld classes you would like the host university classes to be recognised for (consult your Bielefeld study advisors on this).
- Statement of your level of proficiency in English.
- Recommendation from one of your professors concerning your suitability on academic grounds.
In general,
- applications should be be submitted in March for an exchange period starting in September of the same year, e.g. in March 2008 in order to start in September 2008;
- applications for the summer semester alone will not be accepted, because courses are in general based on the academic year, starting in the autumn, and much of the summer term is an exam period.
If your application is accepted on the Bielefeld side, you will be given further information by the AAA and myself about the further procedure at your host university.
