17th February 2001: Submission of long abstracts
Long abstracts for 30 minute talks (including discussion) are invited on any
subject on the theme.
Please submit a detailed two-page abstract including theory, methodology,
results and references in electronic form to any of the organisers.
The abstract is intended as a source of information and reference for all
participants in preparing the final version of their contributions for
discussion at the workshop.
All abstracts will be posted on the web and/or circulated by email, and in
the interest of maximum effectiveness in preparation, all potential workshop
participants are required to respond to the abstracts by 15th March 2000.
30th March 2001: Registration deadline
Please register by 30th of March. We may not be able to guarantee accommodation
for later registration.
A small registration fee will be charged to cover cost of materials, daytime
catering, etc. Other costs will be borne by the participants.
We are planning to get lunch delivered to the workshop venue by
`Mango Catering', an African catering service in Bielefeld, with excellent
food, mainly Nigerian. Details later.
30th April 2001: Submission of full papers
Full papers will be distributed at the workshop as a basis for intensive
discussions, and we will discuss the possibility of later publication with
participants.
Formatting instructions will be posted later.
18 - 20 May 2001: Workshop
- 17 May 2000: arrival (evening: get-together)
- 18 May 2000: presentations (evening: Westphalian dinner)
- 19 May 2000: presentations; initial discussion of common results (evening: Turkish dinner)
- 20 May 2000: presentations; final formulation of common results (evening: invitation to the Gibbons')
- 21 May 2000: departure (or guided tour to Hamelin, the Weser area and Hanover)
