Thema:

Ziel ist die systematische Optimierung unserer molekularen Nanomagnete (Einzelmolekülmagnete). Die einzelnen molekularen Bausteine werden unter Befolgen folgender Strategien zur Optimierung variiert: 1. bessere energetische Separierung des Spingrundzustandes, 2. Verwendung von Metallionen mit stärkerer lokaler magnetischer Anisotropie, 3. Maximierung der Projektion der lokalen magnetischen Anisotropien auf den Spingrundzustand und 4. Verringerung des Magnetisierungstunnels durch Minimierung der Rhombizität.
